Kim Mi-soo was a South Korean actress and model, she passed away.

Over the years, Disney has seen some of its biggest stars die due to sudden and tragic events.

Kim Mi-soo, star of the Disney + series Snowdrop, is the most recent actress to pass away.

The actress, who plays Yeo Jung-min on the show, is also known for her roles in the films Memories and Kyungmi’s World, both released in 2019.

Her agent confirmed the news, but the cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

Kim’s management said that she had died suddenly and asked people to refrain from spreading rumors about her death so that her family could cry.


Kim Mi-soo has died at the age of 29-years-old.


Kim began her debut in 2018 on Lipstick Revolution. During the early stages of her career, Kim was known for her debut role in Lipstick Revolution and as a supporting character in Kyungmi’s World. Ella, also appeared in the 2020 drama Hi Bye, Mama! as the sister of the female lead.

Recently, Kim came to attention for her portrayal of Yeo Jeong-min, a cold but kind and upright student activist in JTBC’s Snowdrop (2021-22). Despite the show’s ongoing controversies related to the alleged historical distortion, Kim’s appearance in Snowdrop was her most notable on-screen performance of hers to date.

Cause of Death

On January 5, 2022, Kim died of unspecified causes at age 29.

Kim’s death coincided with the JTBC romance drama Snowdrop, in which Mi-Soo played a supporting character. Before Kim’s death, seven of the 16 episodes had aired and filming had concluded as Snowdrop was a pre-produced series.

Kim played an undisclosed role in the Disney + original drama Kiss Six Sense, which aired in the first half of 2022, and filming has begun. Kiss Six Sense canceled filming scheduled for the day due to the sudden death of Kim Mi-soo.

Her agency Lanscape said in a statement, “Kim left us suddenly on January 5. The bereaved are deeply in grief from the sudden sadness.”

“Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the bereaved family, who are shocked and grieving, can reverently commemorate the deceased.

Kim is among a series of stars who grew up on the Disney Channel and tragically passed away.
