Sherrilyn, who was a youth worker for seven years before establishing a counseling and mentoring business, said she would never hurt anyone and is not violent. She added: “I shouldn’t have let the anger get the better of me, but they pushed me to the limit.
“What they are doing is wrong. They are not peaceful, they are obstructive and they are rude.
“I am upset that I lost my temper and maybe I could have done it in a different way, but I will always defend what I believe: that people should have the right to live a normal life.
“And I was standing up for all the other moms who are just trying to get their kids to school.” She continued: “Education is very important and we just went through a pandemic. My son has had a lot of time away from school. “The seventh year is really important. It’s his first year of high school. He is a smart student and is doing well academically.
“And I have an important job. I am a single mother trying to earn a living honestly. I worked during the pandemic and I have people in distress waiting to see me.
“People may see me as a maniac right now, but I do a lot for my community.”
Sherrilyn said that she has no problem with people’s protests and accepts change, but she added: “They are going the wrong way.
“I get it. We want to have a nice planet for our children’s children, which I support, but they are doing more harm than good.
“They should protest in front of the parliament and the government and not interrupt people’s lives.”

Mum who Drove into Insulate Britain Protesters Goes Viral
Essex’s mother Sherrilyn Speid went viral after footage surfaced of her driving towards activists in a black Range Rover.
But on Instagram, the businesswoman insisted today that she simply elbowed the eco-warriors, who had blocked her route as she tried to drop her 11-year-old son at school.
She wrote: “I never ran them over, elbowed them, so dramatic man.”
Seeming to scoff at the media attention, in a follow-up post, the mother added, “Someone said RANGE ROVER,” with various laughing emojis.
In the viral images, Sherrilyn can be seen yelling, “Let me take my son to school.”
The confrontation began when Sherrilyn pulled into her Range Rover and got out to protest with the protesters.
After getting back into her car, she drives a couple, pushing them down the road.
Other people on the side of the road can also be heard swearing at the Insulate Britain protesters.
“I’m not kidding, my son needs to go to school, get off the road,” she said.
When a protester explains why they are demonstrating, she responds: “My son is 11 years old, he needs to go to school and I have to go to work.
“Then get out of the way. Let me take my son to school.”
At that point, the furious Sherrilyn gets back into her car and addresses a couple of protesters.
A man can be heard yelling “go ahead, push them” as she bumps into her back.
She then comes back out and yells, “I don’t care what the damn problem is, my son, needs to go to school.”
It appears that the video was filmed when the school mothers and truck drivers were detained at an industrial estate near Dartford Crossing in Purfleet, Essex.
The glamorous mother previously said that her “biggest motivation” was her child.
In an interview with Urban Youth Mag about her entrepreneurial adventure, she said: “He is a great inspiration to me because of his positive and optimistic nature and his willingness to move on and never give up.”
The mental health specialist, who was also on her way to work, said she lost her temper from her when they rudely refused and laughed at her.

“But I didn’t hit them, I just pushed them slowly along the way. It was a scare tactic. I thought they would move, but they didn’t.”
